Free Advanced Photography Tutorials

Welcome photo ninja, to this series of free advanced photography tutorials. Please note that is an advanced series, and I will assume that everyone is already comfortable with the basic exposures without any explanations required. Beginners, you might want to check out the beginner series first.

I have given quite a bit of thought on how to develop this series. After all, advanced photography can go in so many directions and dive deep into many different subjects. It is going to be virtually impossible for me to cover everything, so I am going to be completely honest here.

Rather than pretending to be a master and teach the wrong stuff, I must admit that I know peanuts about macro and wildlife photography. You will probably not find any of those tutorials here. But if you are interested in landscape, light painting and astrophotography, I have plenty of tricks and knowledge to share.

Quick, hide your wallets! I am an affiliate partner of Google, eBay, Adobe, Bluehost, and more. There are affiliate links and advertisements on this page. Whenever you buy things from the evil links that I recommend, I will make a commission.

Nah. These are just things to keep the blog going, and allows me to give more good stuff to you guys - for free. So thank you if you decide to pick up my recommendations!

As much as I love to fashion this into a step-by-step series, it is entirely impossible for an advanced tutorial covering almost “everything under the sky”. So I have just put the tutorials out on the table as-it-is. Just go explore whichever topic you are interested in.

You might want to bookmark this page. Seriously. This is going to be a long read, and I do not recommend trying to finish all of these in a day.

Reading will only give you limited knowledge. You need to go practice to become better. Also feel free to ask questions in the comments, it will help me to make this series better too.
